SailGP is the global championship that is redefining the sport of sailing. Beginning on Saturday, May 2, Rome Kirby’s United States team will take on the six national teams from Australia, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Japan and Spain. San Francisco SailGP will feature two-days of action-packed fleet races, with a winner-take-all match race finale between the top two boats on the afternoon on Sunday, May 3.
The City will be the first American stop of the 2020 season, with the adrenaline-filled racing to take place once again just off the Marina Yacht Club Peninsula, in the heart of San Francisco Bay between the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz.
