Jeremy Shelley has been a part of the Giants organization for over 30 years. He currently serves as Senior Vice President and Assistant General Manager. He assists President of Baseball Operations Farhan Zaidi and General Manager Pete Putila with the day-to day operations of the baseball department including roster management, player acquisitions, player evaluations, Major League rules administration and interpretation, contract negotiations and salary arbitration.
During his time with the Giants he has been a part of nine postseason berths, including four World Series appearances and three Championships.
The Concord, CA native began his career for the Giants as a baseball operations intern in 1994. He was hired full-time as Administrative Assistant, Baseball Operations in 1996. Shelley was later promoted to Director, Baseball Operations in 2006, Senior Director, Baseball Operations/Pro Scouting in 2009 and Vice President, Pro Scouting and Player Evaluation in 2013.
He earned a BS in finance from Santa Clara University in 1995. Shelley and his wife, Suzanne, live in San Mateo with their two daughters.
