July 27th, 2016
SAN FRANCISCO -- With a paid attendance of 41,896 Tuesday night, the Giants surpassed the Cleveland Indians for the second-longest sellout streak in Major League Baseball history. Dating back to Oct. 1, 2010, the club has sold out 456 consecutive regular-season games at AT&T Park.
It is the longest active streak in the Majors.
The Boston Red Sox possess the longest sellout streak in Major League history. Between 2003 and 2013, the organization sold out 794 straight regular-season games at Fenway Park. San Francisco will need to continuing selling out for several years if it plans on breaking that record.
