Since 2000, the Giants, Giants Community Fund, and Futures Without Violence have hosted Strike Out Violence Day to bring awareness to ending violence in our communities. On this day the Giants gather community leaders and advocates that work to end community violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, bullying and child abuse.

Gun Violence Prevention
Everytown for Gun Safety is the largest gun violence prevention organization in the United States. They are building a movement to register voters, elect candidates who will govern with gun safety in mind and demand action from our elected officials. The Everytown for Gun Safety movement exists to end gun violence and save lives.
According to Brady, there is no one solution to end this epidemic of gun violence, and their comprehensive approach addresses every aspect with more than 45 years of research and real-world experience. Their programs combat crime guns, end family fire, educates and mobilizes young people in the intersectional fight against gun violence.
United Playaz is a violence prevention and youth development organization that has worked in San Francisco for 25 years. They provide our kids with a safe and positive environment in which they can grow. They also provide a comprehensive range of services to prepare vulnerable youth for higher education, employment, and healthy living within a safe, nurturing and collaborative environment.
