The 4-day voting frenzy is underway to get D-backs outfielders Corbin Carroll and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. in the National League’s starting lineup with the final 2 outfield starting spots for the 2023 All-Star Game in Seattle on July 11.
Voting runs through Thursday at 9:00 a.m. AZ exclusively at MLB.com/vote, dbacks.com/vote, all 30 Club web sites, the MLB App and the MLB Ballpark App. Fans may vote 4 times total, once per day, with daily voting limits resetting each day at 12:00 a.m. ET.
The All-Star starters will be announced on ESPN on Thursday, June 29 at 4:00 p.m. AZ.
Corbin Carroll (third in Phase 1 with 1,053,815 votes)
- Among all Major League players, is second with a 3.6 Offensive bWAR, fourth with a 3.7 Position Players bWAR and fifth with a 3.7 Overall bWAR.
- Among National League leaders, he is second with a .558 slugging percentage and 23 stolen bases, tied for third with 39 extra-base hits, fourth with 154 total bases, tied for fourth with a .927 OPS, tied for sixth with 20 doubles, tied for eighth with 16 home runs and tied for 10th with a .290 average.
- The Seattle-native is bidding for his first career All-Star appearance…would be the first D-backs rookie to earn a fan-elected start and second D-backs rookie All-Star along with Wade Miley in 2012.
