The University of Virginia walked off to win a no-hitter in the 11th inning
Entering Wednesday night's mid-week matchup against William and Mary, the University of Virginia had five no-hitters in the entire history of its baseball program. On Wednesday, the Cavaliers picked up their sixth -- and first combined -- and it was definitely the craziest of them all.
It took 11 innings and six pitchers, but UVA beat William and Mary, 4-3, all while allowing zero hits. To make matters even crazier, Virginia came within an out of losing the game, trailing 3-2 with two outs and the bases loaded in the bottom of the 11th. They won the game when an errant throw by William and Mary's third baseman allowed the runners from second and third to score with two outs:

Even though they didn't allow a hit, the UVA pitching staff issued seven walks, hit a batter and threw three wild pitches. The defense also committed four errors in the game. You can watch the complete highlights of the wild 11-inning affair below:
