Vicki Bryant
Vice President, Event Services & Merchandising
As Vice President of Event Services and Merchandising for the St. Louis Cardinals, Vicki Bryant oversees all of the food, beverage retail operations and non-baseball events at Busch Stadium, as well as leads a number of other areas of business for the team.
In addition to managing the team's contract with concessionaire Delaware North Sportservice, Vicki also oversees the Cardinals Hall of Fame Museum and tour operation, the Busch Stadium Special Events group, the Cardinals Authentics Store and the staff of the Ford Family Pavilion in Busch Stadium.
Vicki's journey through the Cardinals organization began when, at the age of sixteen, she was hired as a tour guide. A year later, she was promoted to assistant manager of the Cardinals Hall of Fame Museum & Gift shop during the team's 1982 World Championship post season. Vicki has continued moving up the corporate ladder over the years, taking on additional responsibilities and holding a variety of positions.
Vicki was a member for the design team for the new ballpark, offering input on the look, layout and location of each concession stand and retail point of sale, as well as the ballpark's premium and all-inclusive areas. Vicki also oversaw the design of Ford Family Pavilion, as well as the sale of over 17,000 personalized brick pavers that adorn the sidewalks outside the new ballpark.
In 2005, Vicki coordinated the sale of memorabilia from the old Busch Stadium, including the sale and shipment of over 15,000 pairs of stadium seats, the organization of several on-line auctions and a public sale which resulted in the sale of items ranging from concession equipment to player lockers, sections of the foul polls, authentic, game used bases and even Fredbird's car (a Ford Mustang convertible). In 2006, Cardinals Authentics was created to ensure that fans would always have the opportunity to get official, game used, limited edition and autograph Cardinals memorabilia directly from the club.
Over the years Vicki has been involved with many special events at both ballparks, including a variety of concerts with acts such as the Rolling Stones, the Who, the Eagles, the Dixie Chicks, New Kids on the Block, Billy Joel, Elton John, Dave Mathews Band, the Rolling Stones and U2. Since the new ballpark opened in 2006, the special events team has hosted over 500 events ranging from corporate meetings and weddings to the largest concert in the history of St. Louis.
