Director, Editorial Content
In his role, Brett oversees a wide offering of content including Cardinals Insider, the club's weekly 30 minute television show. Brett serves as a reporter and managing editor for the program, overseeing the editorial content and quality control of each episode.
Additionally, Brett and his team drive the creation of content for the team's digital properties, including YouTube, organic social content, and the Cardinals Insider Podcast, which he hosts. He and his staff also contribute content for the team’s scoreboard pre-game shows.
Prior to joining the Cardinals, Brett worked as a TV sports anchor/reporter for KHGI-TV, the ABC affiliate in central Nebraska. While there he covered University of Nebraska football, minor league sports, and high school athletics. His career began at 101 ESPN radio in St. Louis where he hosted a weekly show and later was a multimedia reporter covering the Cardinals for the station's website. While a student, he also served as a freelance play-by-play announcer for Learfield Sports calling Missouri Valley Conference men’s basketball.
During a college internship with KMOX radio, Brett played a key role in their sports department by handling an archival project of historic Cardinals' radio highlights.
Brett graduated magna cum laude from Lindenwood University with a B.A. in Journalism.
Away from the ballpark, he and his family are involved at church, and enjoy a good bar-b-que restaurant. He, his wife Emiley, and their son Beckett, reside in St. Charles where they enjoy walks down historic Main Street.
