ST. LOUIS, Mo., March 20, 2025 – The St. Louis Cardinals announced that the Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum, located on the second floor of Cardinals Nation at Ballpark Village, will unveil its new featured exhibit entitled Growing Up Cardinal on Sunday, March 23, before the season. The exhibit will explore the childhood baseball experiences of Cardinals fans across the three St. Louis Cardinals' stadiums.
In addition to featuring artifacts such as promotional items, baseball cards, toys, books, and stadium certificates, the exhibit highlights examples of team branding and player endorsements, stories of mascots and bat boys, and the beginnings of the Knot Hole Gang. Visitors will also be invited to share their personal and favorite Cardinals stadium memories as part of the exhibit.
“Generations of fans have cheered on the Cardinals from Sportsman’s Park to Busch Memorial Stadium to today’s Busch Stadium,” said Amy Berra, Manager & Curator of the Cardinals Hall of Fame & Museum. “We are proud to unveil this one-of-a-kind special exhibit that celebrates the memories, traditions, and timeless joy of growing up a Cardinals fan through the eyes of young fans across the decades.”
In keeping with the theme of childhood experiences, elements of drawings done by six children from the team’s co-ed youth baseball and softball program, Redbird Rookies, are incorporated in the exhibit’s logo and used throughout the exhibit.
This exhibit will be open through February 2026 and is included with admission to the Cardinals Museum. The Museum is open daily from 10 AM-6 PM and remains open through the seventh inning during home night games.
