LATEST NEWS
Oct. 31: 1B Christian Walker, RHP Paul Sewald, 1B Josh Bell and SS Kevin Newman become free agents
All four of the D-backs' eligibles became free agents. The club will almost certainly give Walker a qualifying offer and will explore ways to bring back Newman, who was valuable as a backup middle infielder after shortstop Geraldo Perdomo had to miss time. Sewald and Bell probably will not return.
