Freeman (right ankle sprain) was back in the starting lineup against the Mets on Friday in NLCS Game 5 after missing Game 4. More >

Rojas (left adductor tear), Vesia (right intercostal injury), Kelly (right shoulder injury) and Graterol (right shoulder inflammation) were all left off the NLCS roster.

Stone, who was already out for the rest of his season due to right shoulder inflammation, will likely miss the entirety of the 2025 season after undergoing right shoulder surgery on Oct. 9. More >

Major League Baseball announced on Friday that it has approved a roster substitution for the New York Yankees due to an injury sustained by Hamilton due to left calf tightness. He was replaced by Mark Leiter Jr. on New York's roster vs. the Guardians in the ALCS. More >

Cortes (left elbow flexor strain), who last pitched on Sept. 18, was scheduled to throw live batting practice on Wednesday. He is a potential option for the World Series if the Yankees make it that far, according to manager Aaron Boone. More >

Luis Arraez, Padres

Arraez announced on social media Wednesday that he has undergone surgery on his left thumb to address an injury he dealt with during the 2024 season. More >

Alex Cobb, Guardians

Major League Baseball announced Tuesday that it has approved a roster substitution for the Guardians due to an acute left lower back strain sustained by Cobb. He will be replaced by righty Ben Lively on Cleveland’s roster vs. the Yankees in the ALCS. More >

Masataka Yoshida, Red Sox

The Red Sox announced on Wednesday that Yoshida underwent a successful right shoulder labral repair on Oct. 3. A source told MLB.com that the Red Sox are aiming for the left-handed hitter to be ready by Opening Day, which is set for March 27 at Texas. More >
