Turn Two with Ozzie

Citizens of Cardinal Nation know the greatest shortstop in the history of the game paved his way to Cooperstown wearing the Birds on the Bat. Cardinals fans can now experience the Wizard’s magic in a unique way, and Turn Two with Ozzie at Busch Stadium.

In a one-hour session on the field at Busch Stadium, you will receive an up-close fielding demonstration from the best shortstop of all time and turn two double-plays with Ozzie Smith. A Cardinals team photographer will capture all the action, and every participant will receive an autographed baseball.

There are two available dates: Friday, May 31 or Friday, August 2.

• Each participant registered for Turn Two with Ozzie Smith will take part in a one-hour event on the field at Busch Stadium. Participants will receive fielding instruction from Ozzie and will have the opportunity to turn double plays on the Busch Stadium infield.
• Participants should arrive 30 minutes before their registered time. Participants will enter the stadium at the lobby entrance at 420 South Eighth Street. This entrance is located near the southwest corner of the stadium, by Gate 2. The entrance is a glass double-door with a green awning overhead, and the address is visible on the outside of the entrance.
• Reasonably priced parking is available just across Eighth Street from the stadium, near that southwest corner of the building.
• Everyone who is participating in the event must complete an online waiver and consent form.
• ALL PARTICIPANTS ON THE FIELD MUST BE AT LEAST 10 YEARS OF AGE. Only the participant who is registered for the event and has submitted a waiver will be allowed onto the field and allowed to participate in the event.
• Up to two people may accompany those who are registered for the event. If someone is coming with you but not participating, they will be able to sit in the seats near the field to watch.
• Everyone participating in the event should dress in comfortable, athletic gear. Baseball/softball pants are fine if you wish to wear them, but certainly not required. Everyone participating should wear tennis shoes or turf shoes – no cleats or spikes will be allowed on the field. Every participant should also bring her/his own fielding glove.
• Participants will receive a baseball that has been pre-signed by Ozzie Smith. No other autographs will be allowed. Each participant will also receive a voucher good for two tickets to a Cardinals home game.
• A Cardinals team photographer will take photos of the event. After the event, everyone who participated will receive an email with a link to an online photo gallery, with high-resolution photos from the day.
