Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. SPONSOR. Cardinals Baseball Bingo (“Bingo”) is presented by St. Louis Cardinals, LLC (the “Cardinals” or “Sponsor”), a Missouri limited liability company located at 700 Clark Street, St. Louis, Missouri.

2. ELIGIBILITY. Bingo is open to legal residents of the United States who, at the time of entry are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older. Employees and officers of Sponsor, the other MLB Entities, Ballpark Village, LLC (“BPV”), and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising agencies, authorized dealers, promotional suppliers and prize providers (collectively, “Bingo Entities”) and the immediate family members (spouses, parents, children and siblings and their spouses) or members of the same household (whether related or not) of such individuals are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited. The “MLB Entities” shall mean the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball (“BOC”), its Bureaus, Committees, Subcommittees and Councils, MLB Advanced Media, L.P. (“MLB”), Major League Baseball Properties, Inc., The MLB Network, LLC, the Major League Baseball Clubs (“Clubs”), each of their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and related entities, any entity which, now or in the future, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Clubs or the BOC, and the owners, general and limited partners, shareholders, directors, officers, employees and agents of the foregoing entities.

3. ENTRY PERIOD. The Bingo period will begin at the official start of the Cardinals Game (defined below) played on or after March 28, 2024 and will end on November 15, 2024 (the “Bingo Period”). The Bingo Period will be divided into one (1) separate entry period (each, an “Entry Period”) for each Cardinals Game, with each Entry Period beginning at the official start of each Cardinals Game and ending at the end of such game. The term “Cardinals Game” means a MLB game of the St. Louis Cardinals in which the St. Louis Cardinals are the home team playing at Busch Stadium. 700 Clark Street, St. Louis, Missouri 63102 (the “Stadium”), beginning at the official start of such game and ending at the official end of such game, as such official start and end times are determined by MLB. Limit one (1) Bingo board per person per email address per Entry Period. The exact number of Entry Periods will depend on the actual number of Cardinals Games played.

4. HOW TO PARTICIPATE. To participate, you must download the MLB Ballpark application available on the Apple App Store and Google Play (the “Application”) to your personal mobile device. Once the Application is downloaded to your personal device, you must navigate to the Cardinals page, and click on the “Cardinals Baseball Bingo” button to participate. Once you click the “Cardinals Baseball Bingo” button, a randomly generated electronic Bingo playing card for the applicable Entry Period will appear on the screen of your mobile device. Specific game play instructions for each Entry Period will be provided within the Application. Events will automatically check off on your Bingo game board as they occur on the playing field as determined by the authorized scorer (each, a “Game Event”). Participants are encouraged to hit “refresh” at any time to make sure they did not miss a Game Event. You may participate in Bingo only via the Application using your mobile device. No other method of entry will be accepted. Participants are solely responsible for Internet connectivity, software and/or hardware that may be required in order to use the Application. Use of the Application to participate in Bingo is subject to, and will be treated in a manner consistent with, Major League Baseball’s website (MLB.com) Terms of Use accessible at: https://www.mlb.com/apps/ballpark and https://www.mlb.com/official-information/terms-of-use.

5. WINNER DETERMINATION: There are three (3) ways to win: Single Bingo, Letter “C” and Blackout Bingo (each, a “Winning Event”).

SINGLE BINGO- Five (5) Game Events marked off in a row, column or diagonally.

LETTER “C” - Game Events marked off such that they form the letter “C” across the entire top, left and bottom edges of the Bingo game board.

BLACKOUT - All of the Game Events on the Bingo game board are marked off.

Upon a Winning Event, a Bingo button in the Application will begin to pulse and you must click on the button in order to submit your Bingo game board as a potential winning entry. YOU MUST HIT THE PULSING BUTTON (SINGLE, THE LETTER “C”, AND BLACKOUT) IN ORDER TO WIN.

For each Entry Period,

  • each participant to hit the pulsing button during such Entry Period for a “Single” Bingo will be potential Entry Period single winners and, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, the potential Entry Period single winners will be declared the official Entry Period single winners (each, a “Single Winner”) and there is no limit to number of Single Winners;
  • each participant to hit the pulsing button during such Entry Period for a letter “C” Bingo will be potential C winners and, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, the potential C winners will be declared the official C winners (each, a “C Winner”); and
  • each participant to hit the pulsing button during such Entry Period for a “Blackout” Bingo will be the potential blackout winner and, subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, the potential blackout winner will be declared the official blackout winner (each, a “Blackout Winner”).

For purposes of awarding C Prizes and Blackout Prizes (each as defined below), the potential C Winners and the Blackout Winners, respectively, will be ranked in accordance with the first in time to hit the pulsing button (as determined by Sponsor based on timestamp collected through the Application), with the first participant to hit the pulsing button to be ranked first, the second participant to hit the pulsing button to be ranked second, and so forth.

6. PRIZES, PRIZE CONDITIONS AND ODDS. Prizes will be awarded per Entry Period as set forth below (each, a “Prize” and collectively, the “Prizes”). The exact number of Single Winner Prizes, C Winner Prizes and Blackout Winner Prizes depends on whether Game Events happen and whether a randomly generated Bingo game board results in a Winning Event.

  • Single Winner Prizes: Up to thirty (30) Single Winner Prizes will be awarded per Entry Period. Each Single Prize Winner will get the opportunity to receive one (1) digital message recognizing “bragging rights” as a Cardinals Baseball Bingo winner and one (1) ten dollar ($10) gift card to a venue (selected by Sponsor) at Ballpark Village (BPV), the entertainment and commercial complex located at 601 Clark Ave, St. Louis, MO 63102, or a substitute prize of equivalent value such as complimentary food and beverage to a BPV venue, glassware or other tangible item (each, as applicable, a “Single Prize”). The Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each Single Prize: $10.
  • C Winner Prizes: Up to twenty (20) C Winner Prizes will be awarded per Entry Period. Each C Winner will get the opportunity to receive one (1) digital message recognizing “bragging rights” as a Cardinals Baseball Bingo Winner and one (1) ten dollar ($10) gift card to a venue (selected by Sponsor) at BPV (each, a “C Prize”). C Prizes will be awarded to C Winners in the ranked order starting from the first ranked potential C Winner, then in succession until all C Prizes have been awarded. The ARV of each C Prize: $10.
  • Blackout Winner Prize. Up to one (1) Blackout Prize will be awarded per Entry Period. The Blackout Winner will get the opportunity to receive one (1) digital message recognizing “bragging rights” as a Cardinals Baseball Bingo Winner, one (1) ten dollar ($10) gift card to a venue in Ballpark Village (selected by Sponsor) and one (1) Cardinals’ themed promotional item selected by the Sponsor, which may include, as applicable, items such as a bobblehead doll, baseball (signed or unsigned), article of clothing, or other item at the discretion of Sponsor, (each, a “Blackout Prize”). Blackout Prizes will be awarded to Blackout Winners in the ranked order starting from the first ranked potential Blackout Winner, then in succession until all Blackout Prizes have been awarded the ARV of each Blackout Prize: $15.

If applicable, actual value of signed item is subject to market fluctuations, and Sponsor will not provide a certificate of authenticity. If applicable, items provided as Prizes are not game used. Except as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, no substitution of any Prize is offered, no transfer of any Prize to a third party is permitted, and no Prize may be redeemed for cash value. Any difference between stated ARV of a Prize and actual value of such Prize will not be awarded. Limit one (1) C Winner Prize and one (1) Blackout Winner Prize per person, per Entry Period. Released Parties (defined below) (a) make no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind concerning any Prize (or any portion thereof), and (b) disclaim any implied warranty.

Odds of winning a Prize depend on the order and type of Game Events to happen during the applicable Entry Period and the placement of the Game Events on your Bingo game board for such Entry Period.

7. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION. The Application will automatically notify you if you are a potential winner. Follow the instructions appearing in the Application prize notification to claim your Prize as directed and within the time frame noted in such prize notification.

Each entrant is responsible for monitoring his/her Application for prize notification and receipt of other communications related to Bingo. If a potential winner does not claim his/her Prize during the time frame noted in the prize notification or above, as applicable, that potential winner forfeits his/her Prize and the Prize will go unawarded. Upon request of Sponsor, the potential winner may be required to return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release and Prize Acceptance Form in a form provided by Sponsor. If a potential winner fails to comply with these Official Rules, that potential winner will be disqualified and Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may select the individual to achieve the applicable Winning Event after the applicable cut-off number noted above, an alternate potential winner (e.g., if a potential C Winner is disqualified, the twentieth (20th) individual whose Bingo board results in a C Prize Winning Event may be notified as an alternate potential C Winner). Less than the number of Prizes noted above may be awarded for an Entry Period if and depending on the number of Winning Events that occur during an Entry Period.

In no event will Sponsor be required to award more than the number of prizes stated in these Official Rules. Potential Winners of C Prizes and Blackout Prizes may be required to be physically present to claim a prize at a location specified by the Sponsor in Ballpark Village, 601 Clark Ave, St. Louis, MO 63102. Potential winners may not claim C Prizes and Blackout Prizes via telephone, Internet, mail or any other method in lieu of collection in person. In no event will Sponsor be required to mail or otherwise distribute C Prizes or Blackout Prizes to potential winners who cannot or do not claim the applicable Prize in person, on time, and in the manner descried in the prize notification.

8. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION. Bingo is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. All other expenses on the receipt and use of a Prize not specifically mentioned in these Official Rules are solely the responsibility of each individual Winner. By participating in Bingo, each entrant, agrees (a) to accept and abide by these Official Rules and terms of use of the Application, (b) that any dispute with regard to the conduct of Bingo, rule interpretation or award of Prizes shall be submitted to the management of Sponsor, who will make a final, binding determination, and (c) to waive any and all claims against the Bingo Entities, Sideline Sports, Inc., Apple, Inc., and the licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, representatives and advertising and promotion agencies, and any and all other companies associated with the foregoing entities (collectively, “Released Parties”) for any injury, damage or loss of any kind that may occur, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participation in the game or from receipt or use of any Prize (including, without limitation, any property loss, damage, personal injury or death caused to any person(s)). Each Winner, by acceptance of a Prize, grants to MLB and Sponsor and each of their respective designees the right to publicize his/her name, address (city and state of residence), photograph, voice, statements and/or other likeness and prize information for advertising, promotional and/or trade and/or any other purpose (“Winner Information”) in any media or format now known or hereafter devised, throughout the world, in perpetuity, without limitation and without further compensation, consideration, permission or notification, unless prohibited by law. The releases hereunder are intended to apply to all claims not known or suspected to exist with the intent of waiving the effect of laws requiring the intent to release future unknown claims. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

As a condition of participating in Bingo, each participant agrees that (i) any and all disputes, claims, controversies or causes of action arising out of or relating to Bingo, or any Prizes awarded (each, a “Claim”), shall be (1) arbitrated on an individual basis only, and shall not be consolidated or joined with or in any arbitration or other proceeding involving a Claim of any other party, and (2) settled by binding arbitration in the City or County of St. Louis, Missouri, before a single arbitrator appointed by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its then governing rules and procedures, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered by any court having jurisdiction thereof; and (ii) under no circumstance will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, consequential or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses. These Official Rules shall be governed by and construed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, U.S.A, applicable to contracts entered into and performed exclusively in that State.

9. DISQUALIFICATION. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual suspected of tampering with the entry process or the operation of Bingo; or to be acting in any manner deemed by Sponsor to be in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in any manner deemed by Sponsor to be unsportsmanlike or disruptive, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE ASSOCIATED WITH BINGO OR UNDERMINE THE CONTENT OR LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF BINGO MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR WILL DISQUALIFY ANY PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT, AND SPONSOR, THE OTHER MLB ENTITIES, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE AGENTS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES) AND OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY PERSON OR PERSONS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

10. BINGO ADMINISTRATION. Sponsor will be responsible for resolving any disputes and rules violations that arise in connection with Bingo. All decisions by Sponsor regarding Bingo shall be final and binding in all respects.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. Released Parties assume no responsibility or liability for (a) any incorrect or inaccurate registration or entry information, or for any faulty, failed, garbled or jumbled electronic data transmissions; (b) any unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of Bingo; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of the operation of Bingo; (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of the Internet, the Application, or any combination thereof; or (e) any injury or damage to participant’s or to any other person’s computer or mobile device which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in Bingo or download any materials in Bingo. If, for any reason, Bingo is not capable of running as planned for reasons which may include without limitation, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of Bingo, then Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend Bingo in whole or in part.

12. USE OF INFORMATION. Personally identifiable information that is submitted by entrants, as part of Bingo will be used to administer Bingo, select the Prize Winners and fulfill the Prizes.

13. WINNERS’ LIST. A record of the Winners and the odds of winning will be kept on file by Sponsor for a period of one (1) year following the last game played during the Entry Period. 14. Apple, Inc. is not a sponsor of, or responsible for conducting, Bingo.
