Rockies Youth Parade

Information Sheet

CONGRATULATIONS! Your group has earned the opportunity to participate in the pregame parade around the Warning Track of Coors Field. Please give the following instructions to every team and every player participating in the parade.

* PLEASE READ * IMPORTANT! *

WHEN:

Ballpark Gates A and E open 2 hours prior to game time and Ballpark Gates B, C & D open 1.5 hours prior to game time. Participants may enter through any gate yet we encourage the use of our largest gate, Gate C. All guests must pass through metal detectors so please arrive 1.5-2 hours prior to game time.

WHERE:

Once in the ballpark, follow the "Pre-Game Parade" signs to the parade meeting location on the right field ramps located near Gate B, Section 110 and the SandLot Brewery.

PARADE LOGISTICS:

  • Each ramp will be labeled with signs (Staging Area 3E, Staging Area 4A, etc.) in order to help team leaders direct/assist players and families in finding their team. We strongly recommend that each team creates a sign for identification as there will be many teams lined up in this area. No sticks or balloons please.
  • We ask that all parents vacate the staging area once their child is properly placed with their group due to limited space.
  • Only two coaches will be allowed on the warning track with each team. All other coaches, parents, siblings, etc. must view the parade from their seats.
  • Rockies representatives will begin directing your team towards the field approximately 1 hour prior to game time. Late arrivals will not be able to participate in the parade and should not attempt to meet up with the rest of their team and proceed directly to their seats.
  • *Parade Exit: *Following the parade, participants will be escorted up the left field ramps to the main concourse (behind section 146). Teams with tickets in the upper level are asked to continue up the ramps to meet family members at their seats.

DO'S & DO NOT'S:

  • DO have your ticket. All teams/players must have a game ticket in-hand to enter the ballpark.
  • DO wear your team jersey and hat. Participants will only be allowed on-field if they are wearing these items.
  • DO give all personal items to parents or members of your group who will not be participating in the parade. Personal items are NOT allowed on the field. Feel free to bring a disposable water bottle for waiting time.
  • DO stay on the warning track and follow instructions of Rockies representatives during the parade.
  • Do NOT spit in the staging area! ANYONE CAUGHT SPITTING IN THE STAGING AREA WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE BALLPARK AND THEIR LEAGUE WILL LOSE PARADE PRIVLEGES MOVING FORWARD.
  • Do NOT ask for autographs or stop for photo opportunities. You are welcome to bring cameras and video cameras on the field, but stopping for pictures is disruptive to other groups in the parade and is not permitted.

The pregame parade is a special opportunity for your group to be on Coors Field. We ask that you please adhere to the ceremony guidelines noted above to make this a memorable event for ALL groups participating. Thank You!
