Matthew Kuennen
Matthew Kuennen oversees all the food and beverage responsibilities for the complex, including the on-site dining hall, concessions and catering. As the Manager of Food and Beverage, Matt strives to provide clients with the highest level of culinary experience.
Matt was born in Michigan and moved to Florida in 2004 to pursue his passion for cooking. He attended Le Cordon Bleu for Culinary Arts and International Cuisine. Matt also apprenticed under a Master Chef in Ketchikan, Alaska for three years. Matt’s previous experience includes years in five-star, high-end dining restaurants, traveling the world in pursuit of culinary magic and managing restaurants for Darden Inc. Matt also operated a catering company and spent the last 10 years as a Regional Director for high-end Senior Living Restaurants across the southeast United States, where he was tasked with creating inspirational dining experiences for the residents.
Matt resides in Melbourne, Fla., with his three daughters, Lily, Kinsley and Maddie, and his wife, Kay. In his spare time, Matt loves to exercise, coach sports with his children and make memories at the beach with the family.
