Reds unveil details for this year's Caravan

CINCINNATI -- It's the final major milepost of the offseason calendar with Spring Training just around the corner. On Tuesday, the schedule and itinerary for the 2016 Reds Caravan were revealed.
Reds fans from across a five-state radius can expect visits as the Caravan will feature four buses traversing the region over three days while covering 3,300 miles.
Presented by the Cincinnati USA Regional Tourism Network, Reds Caravan will depart from the Reds Hall of Fame and Museum on Jan. 28. At each of the 16 stops, fans will have a chance to see current and former Reds players, top Minor League prospects, broadcasters and members of the front-office staff. The groups will field questions and sign autographs while time allows.
All Caravan fan stops are free and open to the public. At each of the 16 fan stops, the Reds will raffle two tickets to the 2016 Opening Day game on April 4 (4:10 p.m. ET) vs. the Phillies.
The Reds Caravan will also combine to visit more than 20 of the Reds' radio affiliates. Additional Caravan participants may be added to select tours. Times for stops are subject to change.
Here is the breakdown of the four Reds Caravan legs that will spread out to Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, West Virginia and Tennessee:
The North tour will travel through the Ohio cities Columbus, Lima, Dayton and Hamilton. Featured will be reliever J.J. Hoover (Thursday and Friday only); catcher Devin Mesoraco (Saturday only); president of baseball operations Walt Jocketty; Minor League pitcher Cody Reed; former catcher Corky Miller; chief operating officer Phil Castellini; broadcasters Thom Brennaman and Jim Day and mascot Mr. Redlegs.
For the South tour -- which will travel through Louisville, Bowling Green and Lexington in Kentucky and Nashville in Tennessee -- fans can see outfielder Billy Hamilton, shortstop Zack Cozart (Nashville only), outfielder/infielder Adam Duvall (Louisville only), Minor League outfielder Jesse Winker; general manager Dick Williams; former outfielder Austin Kearns (Lexington only); broadcasters Jeff Brantley and Jim Kelch and mascot Rosie Red.
The East tour will stop in Athens, Ohio, Charleston and Parkersburg in West Virginia and Ashland, Ky. Featured broadcasters Marty Brennaman and Chris Welsh; catcher Tucker Barnhart; Minor League pitcher Amir Garrett, assistant GM Nick Krall and mascot Gapper.
And on the West tour will be visits to the Indiana cities of Muncie, Evansville, Bloomington and Indianapolis. Scheduled to appear on that leg will be manager Bryan Price; infielder Ivan DeJesus Jr.; pitcher Keyvius Sampson, Minor League shortstop Alex Blandino, former Reds pitcher Tom Browning, player development director Jeff Graupe; broadcaster Jeff Piecoro and mascot Mr. Red.
All four legs will will descend at Florence Mall in Florence, Ky., on Jan. 31 for the Caravan finale.
Reds sales representatives will be at each stop to answer ticketing questions and discuss 2016 ticket plans, while the Reds Hall of Fame, the Reds Community Fund and Cincinnati USA Regional Tourism Network will also attend select stops.
