REDS COMMUNITY FUND VOLUNTEERS

The Cincinnati Reds are committed to serving communities throughout Reds Country. Since its inception in 2001, the Reds Community Fund has used baseball as a vehicle to reach out to kids. The Reds Community Fund strives to create programming that connects underserved children with baseball, while creating fundraising programs that connect baseball with the community. The Reds Community Fund is dedicated to improving the lives of kids through the growth of baseball and softball. Currently, outreach programs connect more than 45,000 kids and coaches to the game throughout Reds Country and beyond. Volunteers are an essential part of every single outreach effort and fundraiser hosted each season.

SPLIT THE POT

The Reds Community Fund's Split the Pot fundraiser takes place at Great American Ball Park during all 81 Reds home games. Split the Pot volunteering involves canvasing Great American Ball Park to promote and sell 50/50 raffle tickets. Volunteers are needed to sell tickets from the time the gates open until the beginning of the seventh inning. Upon completion of the shift, volunteers are able to watch the remainder of the game. Great teambuilding experience with friends and coworkers!

Groups are welcome to participate together!

REDS YOUTH ACADEMY

The state-of-the-art, year-round training complex is the hub of Reds Community Fund activities. The facility serves urban boys and girls ages 4-18 and features four championship-caliber ballfields as well as 33,000 square feet of indoor training and classroom space. Volunteer baseball and softball coaches are needed for programs such as: skills training, fundamentals, individual instruction and conditioning.
