REDS COACHES EDUCATION & TRAINING PROGRAM

In an effort to recruit prospective coaches and to further educate existing coaches, the Reds Community Fund has partnered with the Major League Baseball Players Association, USA Baseball and the American Baseball Coaches Association to launch a new training program. This program is aimed at developing the 'Reds Way' coaching philosophy throughout Greater Cincinnati for youth baseball and softball coaches.

Sample clinic topics include

• Basics of hitting and pitching
• Infield and outfield play
• Baserunning fundamentals
• Art of leading an effective practice
• Health and safety

The Reds Community Fund (RCF) is the official nonprofit organization of the Cincinnati Reds. Since its inception in 2001, the Community Fund has been dedicated to improving the lives of youth through its baseball and softball-themed outreach efforts. Find out more at reds.com/community.
