Rain Check Policy
In the event a regulation game is not played on this date, this rain check may be exchanged, subject to availability, at the box office for a ticket of the same or lower price for any subsequent regular game during this season. Dates and seat locations available for exchange are at the discretion of the Cincinnati Reds (“Reds”). Any such exchange must be made at the box office. Difference in exchange value is non-refundable. A rain check of a complimentary ($0.00) ticket is NOT a valid rain check. For additional questions & qualifications, please contact the Reds Ticket Office at 513-765-7400 prompt 3 or e-mail us at [email protected].
Rain Delays and Updates
The right to postpone the playing of a game is controlled by the home club with the exception of the final series (that begins on or after June 1) between two clubs, at which time the responsibility shifts to the Umpire-in-Chief. Once a game has started, the Umpire-in-Chief determines if a game should be suspended, when it can be resumed or if it should be terminated because of bad weather or unfit playing conditions. The Official Playing Rules provide that when a game has been temporarily suspended, umpires must wait at least 30 minutes before calling the game. On days when inclement weather is in the forecast, tune to 700 WLW or check back with reds.com for updates on the game status.
