Everything you need to know about Rays 2025 tickets

December 25th, 2024

TAMPA, Fla. -- Next season will bring about a first for the Rays: Regular-season home games in the Tampa Bay area … outdoors.

Forced out of their home ballpark at Tropicana Field due to the damage caused by Hurricane Milton, the Rays will host games in 2025 at George M. Steinbrenner Field, the Yankees’ Spring Training (and Florida State League) stadium in Tampa.

Single-game tickets for next season are not yet available. They are expected to go on sale closer to Opening Day. But with Steinbrenner Field having a more limited capacity than the Trop, the Rays are still encouraging fans to secure seats with a $100 deposit toward a full-season ticket membership by visiting RaysBaseball.com/2025Interest.

Deposits at that site are only for full-season memberships. The Rays have begun the process of reaching out to all their existing season-ticket members to discuss their options for next season.

The Rays will begin next season at home, hosting the Rockies at 4:10 p.m. ET on March 28 to start a six-game homestand against Colorado and Pittsburgh.

Major League Baseball recently adjusted the 2025 schedule, resulting in Tampa Bay playing more home games during the spring and fewer during the hot, rainy summer. The Rays will play 53 of their first 87 games at Steinbrenner Field, including 21 in March/April and 16 in May, with only 30 of their final 75 games taking place at home.

In the meantime, Spring Training tickets -- including single-game tickets -- are available for purchase at RaysBaseball.com/Spring. The Rays will once again play their Spring Training schedule at Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte, Fla.

Tampa Bay’s spring home opener is set for Saturday, Feb. 22 against the Red Sox. The Rays have weekend home games scheduled against the Mets (Saturday, March 1), Blue Jays (Sunday, March 9), Yankees (Saturday-Sunday, March 15-16) and Red Sox (Saturday, March 22). All home games are scheduled to begin at 1:05 p.m. ET.

After playing their inaugural Spring Breakout game on the road, the Rays are set to send out a squad of their top prospects against players from the Red Sox system at Charlotte Sports Park on Thursday, March 13. The Rays will play a Grapefruit League game against the Nationals at 1:05 p.m. before the Spring Breakout game begins around 4:35 p.m., and tickets for the former are good for both games.
