Began season with the Dodgers' Triple A affiliate in Las Vegas going 11-3 with a 4.17 ERA and one save in 37 outings ... reported to Triple A Indianapolis after being acquired from Los Angeles, along with pitcher Ben Diggins, in exchange for Tyler Houston and a player to be named later (Brian Mallette) on July 23 ... assigned to Triple A Indianapolis ... made nine appearances with the Indians going 3-0 with a perfect 0.00 ERA spanning 16.2 innings ... contract purchased on August 24 ... made Major League Debut on August 24 vs Pittsburgh where he collected his first Major League hit, an RBI single off Joe Beimel ... retired Fred McGriff for his first Major League strikeout on August 27 vs Chicago (N) ... suffered a torn biceps tendon in his right arm in an at-bat on August 31 at Cincinnati ... underwent surgery on September 2, performed by Dr. William Raasch, to repair the biceps tendon.

Split season between Class A Vero Beach and Double A Jacksonville combining to post a 13-3 mark, five saves, a 2.12 ERA and 107 strikeouts in 93.1 innings of work ... his ERA led all Dodgersb minor leaguers ... was a perfect 7-0 with one save for Southern League co-champion Jacksonville ... during April for Florida State League first-half East Division Champ Vero Beach, was 4-1 with a 1.72 ERA in seven appearances ... named FSL Pitcher of the Week May 28 - June 3 after tossing six scoreless innings and striking out 10 ... promoted to Jacksonville on June 14 ... did not allow a run in first nine appearances with Suns, covering 13 innings ...gave up just one earned run in first 20 outings (31 innings) ... was 3-0 in both June and August ... after the season, pitched impressively for Team USA in World Cup tournament in Taiwan ... in six games, hurled six scoreless innings allowing six hits and no walks while striking out 12.
