High School, where he played three years of football (QB) in addition to baseball...Attended Florida State University...Pitched for the Falmouth Commodores in the Cape Cod League in the summer of 2019...His father, Bill, pitched in the Royals organization from 1987-90 at the Rookie and Class-A levels...Enjoys watching football and basketball and playing video games...is a fan of the Miami Dolphins and Miami Heat.

2025

Went 5-1 with a 2.27 ERA in 12 games (11 starts) at Triple-A Worcester...Held International League opponents to a .185 batting average with 67 strikeouts in 47.2 innings while posting a 1.01 WHIP...Was on Worcester’s injured list from 5/13-8/25 with left forearm inflammation...Made three rehab starts from 8/12-8/23 at Class-A Greenville and went 0-1 with an 8.53 ERA (6.1 IP, eight H, six R, six ER, five BB, 10 K, one HR)...Was traded by Boston to Milwaukee as part of a six-player deal on 2/9/26.

2024

Began the season on the 60-day injured list recovering from left shoulder surgery performed on 2/22 by Dr. Nikhil Verma...Made 10 rehab appearances - all in relief - from 5/10-6/6 at Rookie ACL White Sox ( three G), Class-A Winston-Salem ( two G) and Triple-A Charlotte (five G) and went 2-0 with an 8.68 ERA (9.1 IP, nine H, 10 R, nine ER, eight BB, 15 K, one HR)...Was returned by Chicago-AL to Boston on 6/11 and made two starts at Triple-A Worcester in August before landing on the injured list on 8/22 for the remainder of the season with left shoulder inflammation.

2023

Combined to go 10-7 with a 5.05 ERA (69 ER/123.0 IP), 129 strikeouts over 27 appearances (25 starts) with Class AA Portland and Class AAA Worcester...Began the season at Portland, where he went 5-0 with a 1.32 ERA (5 ER/34.0 IP), 36 strikeouts, a .161 (19-118) opponents average and just one home run allowed over six starts...Won his first five starts with the Sea Dogs from 4/7-5/4, recording a 0.62 ERA (2 ER/29.0 IP) with three scoreless outings...Was named Eastern League Pitcher of the Month for April and EL Pitcher of the Week for the period of 4/10-16...Was promoted to Worcester on 5/18, where he averaged 6.4 walks per 9.0 IP (63 BB/89.0 IP), up from 2.4 with Portland...Threw 6.0 scoreless IP in his third start on 5/30 at Louisville, allowing just one hit…Won back-to-back starts on 6/4 at Louisville (3 ER/5.0 IP) and 6/10 vs. Rochester (2 ER/5.2 IP)...Was named to the American League All-Star Futures Game roster but was replaced after suffering a calf cramp in his start on 6/25 vs. Lehigh Valley...Struck out a season-high 10 batters over 6.0 scoreless IP on 8/15 vs. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre…Earned his final win on 9/12 vs. Syracuse with 3.2 scoreless IP in relief.

Was named a MiLB.com Organization All-Star for the second straight season after combining to go 7-8 with a 3.89 ERA (56 ER/129.2 IP) and 157 strikeouts (10.9 per 9.0 IP) in 27 appearances (25 starts) between Class A Greenville and Portland...Led Red Sox Minor Leaguers in strikeouts and ranked among the organizational leaders in starts (T3rd), ERA (4th), IP (4th), opponents average (4th, .227) and WHIP (4th, 1.26)...Worked 5.0-plus IP in 20 of his 25 starts … limited right-handed batters to a .205/.279/.373 (71-346) slash line...Began the season with Greenville, where he averaged 11.6 strikeouts per 9.0 IP (136 SO/105.2 IP)...Allowed one unearned run with eight strikeouts over 6.0 IP in a ND on 4/21 vs. Winston-Salem … earned his first win of the season on 5/3 vs. Rome, giving up one run on three hits with nine strikeouts over 6.0 IP...Went 2-2 with a 1.88 ERA (6 ER/28.2 IP) in six starts from 5/26-6/24 … recorded a career-high 14 strikeouts over 5.2 IP on 6/7 vs. Asheville...Posted a 1.77 ERA (4 ER/20.1 IP) over his final four starts with Greenville before being promoted to Portland on 8/16...Lost his debut with the Sea Dogs on 8/20 at Reading (4 ER/5.0 IP) before posting a 2.37 ERA (5 ER/19.0 IP) over his final four starts of the season.
