Was signed by Mike Cadahia...was invited to 1996 USA Baseball Junior Team trials...selected as area Player-of-the-Year by the Tampa Tribune as a senior at Jesuit High School in 1996...was 12-1 with a 0.88 ERA, striking out 153 batters in 89.0IP...attended same high school that produced Lou Pinella and Marc Valdes.
2004
Spent the majority of the season with Triple-A Columbus, going 1-5 with a 3.15 ERA and a teamhigh 17 saves in 35 relief appearances...finished 17-for-19 in save situations and converted his last 14 save opportunities of the season...was selected to play in the International League All-Star Game in Pawtucket on 7/14 but did not attend (injured)...was named I.L. Pitcher of the Week from 5/10-16, converting all four save opportunities (4.0IP, 1H)...went 0-1 with six saves and a 1.69 in 12 May appearances...was recalled by the Yankees on 7/8 and made his Major League debut on 7/11 vs. Tampa Bay, tossing 1.1 innings of scoreless relief...was placed on the 15-day disabled list on 7/15 with a strained right knee...was transferred to the 60- day D.L. on 8/3...made five rehab appearances (one start) for Tampa (GCL) and Tampa (FSL), allowing 1ER in 7.0IP...transferred to Columbus for rehab on 9/9 and rejoined the Clippers during the playoffs...recorded a save in Game 2 vs. Richmond...reinstated from 60-day disabled list on 10/29...pitched for Grand Canyon of the Arizona Fall League, going 2-3 with a 5.28 ERA in eight games (six starts).

In his first season at the Triple-A level was 4-4 with 18 saves and a 4.84 ERA in 54 appearances (two starts) for the Columbus Clippers...began the season as the team's long reliever and took over the closer's role in mid-season...was the Clippers' lone representative in the Triple-A All-Star game at Memphis on 7/16 and earned the win with a scoreless inning...was named the Most-Valuable-Pitcher of the game...was 4-3 with a 3.91 ERA and his 18 saves as a reliever...recorded his first professional save on 6/28 at Syracuse...also saved 10 of the Clippers 22 wins in August...in his two starts allowed 11H and 11ER in 5.1IP (18.56 ERA)...was added to the Yankees' 40-man roster on 10/15.
2002
Was 5-8 with a 5.01ERA in 19 appearances with Double-A Norwich...was placed on the disabled list from 4/15-6/8 with right elbow tendinitis...struck out a season-high nine batters without allowing a walk on 8/18 at Portland, allowing 3H and 1ER in 8.0IP to earn the win.
2001
Spent the season with Single-A Tampa, going 8-8 with a 3.51 ERA in 24 games (23 starts)...finished the season first in the Florida State League in complete-games (5), shutouts (2) and 10th in ERA (3.51)...threw onehit complete-game on 4/21 vs. Dunedin (1ER, 3BB, 8K)...won six straight decisions from 7/6-8/17, allowing 9ER in 50.1IP over that span (1.61ERA).
2000
In his first season in the Yankees' organization was 6-7 with a 4.25 ERA in 18 game started for Single-A Greensboro.
1999
Spent the season for Single-A Charlotte in the Rangers' minor-league system, going 3-9 with a 5.54 ERA in 15 games started.
