Compiled a 2-6 record with a 2.47 ERA (17 ER/62.0 IP) in 67 relief appearances with 17 saves and 15 holds between Atlanta and Los Angeles (AL). Opened the season with the Angels, before Atlanta acquired him at the trade deadline in exchange for LH Tucker Davidson and RH Jesse Chavez. Logged 16 saves and a 2-6 record while pitching to a 4.04 ERA in 39 appearances with the Angels… Allowed just one earned run in 28 relief appearances after becoming a member of the Braves. His 0.34 ERA from the trade deadline through the end of the season was the lowest in baseball (min. 20 appearances). Also dating to the trade deadline, Iglesias led the National League with a 41.7% chase rate (swings out of the zone)…He trailed only Cleveland’s Emmanuel Clase. Tied with teammate A.J. Minter for the most appearances out of Atlanta’s bullpen dating to his first outing on Aug. 5. Iglesias and Milwaukee’s Devin Williams were the only pitchers in the Majors to record at least 15 saves and 15 holds on the season. In 34 appearances in his home ballpark last season, allowed just three earned runs over 31.2 innings (0.85 ERA)…Opponents batted .179/.227/.277 and produced a .504 OPS.
