Non-roster invitee to spring training...Began the season as a reliever with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (AAA)...Had his contract purchased on 4/26 (Julio Santana DL'ed) and made his Phillies debut that night vs COL (1.0 IP), his 1st ML appearance since 5/12/03 vs FLA...Optioned back to Scranton on 5/6 (Julio Santana activated) after 4 appearances...Had a 20.2-inning scoreless streak with Scranton, 4/14-7/2...Did not allow an ER in his final 9 triple-A appearances (10.0 IP)...Recalled again on 9/3...Went 1-0, 1.00 ERA (1 ER, 9.0 IP) through his first 6 ML appearances of the season.
