Jason Patrick Bulger...1997 graduate of Brookwood (GA) High School...attended Valdosta (GA) State University...he and brothers Kevin and Brian were each selected in 2001 First-Year Player Draft, the first time three brothers have been selected in same draft: shortstop Kevin(43rd round) and right-handed pitcher Brian (49th round) were both chosen by San Francisco, but neither signed...Brian signed after selection by Tampa Bay in 25th round of 2002 draft.
2011
Made the Angels Opening Day roster for the fourth consecutive season...appeared in five games, posting a 0.96 ERA (9.1 ip, 1 er) with opponents batting .182 (6-for-33) before being designated for assignment, April 27...Was outrighted to Triple-A Salt Lake, May 6 and spent the remainder of the season with the Bees...Placed on the 7-day disabled list with right shoulder fatigue, July 3...reinstated July 16...Held left-handed batters to a .182 (10-for-55) batting average while right-handers batted .263 (21-for-80) while at Salt Lake...Struck out 49 batters in 38.0 innings for the Bees, posting a 11.61 strikeouts-per-9.0 innings ratio.

Made third consecutive Opening Day roster with Angels...Limited to just 25 games after appearing in 64 contests for the Angels in 2009...Did not record a decision while posting two holds and a 4.88 ERA (24 IP - 13 ER) in 25 relief appearances... Allowed all three grand slams hit against the Halos this season - Ichiro (Sea.), J. Kubel (Min.) & C. In 2006, recalled by Angels, May 20...Appeared in two games, posting no record and 16.20 ERA (1.2 IP - 3 ER)...Made first appearance with Angels May 20 at Los Angeles (0.2 IP, 1 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 3 BB, 1 SO, 1 WP)...Was optioned to Salt Lake, May 22...Acquired by Angels March 1, 2006 in trade with Arizona for INF Alberto Callaspo...In 2006, Was 2-2 with four saves and a 4.72 ERA (34.1 IP - 18 ER) in 27 games at triple-A Salt Lake...Did not allow a home run, walked 15 and struck out 44...Had two stints on disabled list (June 14-Aug. 7 & Aug. 22 thru remainder of season).
