Was called up from Memphis (AAA) on May 11 and made his Major League debut vs. the Orioles at Busch Stadium, closing out a 10-1 win with four strikeouts over 2.0 innings pitched...Became the sixth Cardinals reliever all-time, and the first since Shelby Miller in 2012, to strike out four or more batters in 2.0 innings or less in a Major League debut...Is the only pitcher in Cardinals franchise history to make their debut vs. Baltimore. Joined Kramer Robertson (May 10) as the only two Cardinals all-time to debut vs. the Orioles. ..Stranded two inherited runners in his second outing, retiring two consecutive batters following a walk to load the bases vs. SF (5/13). ..Suffered his first loss at New York Mets (5/18) allowing four runs on two hits with a walk and a hit batter in an 11-4 loss...Optioned back to Memphis on May 21, was recalled on June 5, and optioned again June 7 without making a Major League appearance...Appeared in a game for one out on June 8 vs. Durham (AAA-Rays) before being removed from the game.
