On 3/14 was acquired from the Mariners, along with RHP Justin Dunn, minor league LHP Brandon Williamson and a player to be named (RHP Connor Phillips, 3/29), for 3B Eugenio Suárez and OF Jesse Winker...In spring training hit safely in seven of his 11 appearances to earn a spot on the Reds' Opening Day roster...in Goodyear led the team with four stolen bases, tied for the most in the Major Leagues...Made 21 starts in LF, seven starts in CF, 14 starts in RF and 14 starts at DH...From 5/1-7/28 missed 77 games while on the injured list with right knee inflammation and then a left great toe bone bruise...on 6/13, as one of eight roster moves, was transferred to the 60-day injured list...Hit .295 in 53 appearances after 7/29, when he was reinstated from the 60-day injured list (7 2b, 11hr, 25rbi, 3sb, .377obp, .526slg, .903ops)...From 5/22-5/27 made four rehab appearances for Dayton (1gs) and Louisville (3gs)...on 5/29 was returned from that rehab assignment because of a left great toe bone bruise and didn't make another rehab appearance until 7/13...In the 8-2 win on 7/30 vs BAL, following nine rehab appearances for Louisville, made his first appearance for the Reds since 4/30 at COL...started in RF and produced his first career three-hit game, including an RBI-single off Dean Kremer and a two-run HR off Beau Sulser...In the fourth inning of the 10-1 win on 8/20 at PIT became the 44th player to homer into the Allegheny River (off Tyler Beede, 65th time)...In the 9-5 win on 8/21 at PIT hit the first leadoff HR of his career (off Zach Thompson) and reached base safely in all five plate appearances (HR, 2-run single, 3rbi, 3bb, 1sb, 4r)...On 9/2 vs COL hit his first career pinch-hit HR (solo off Dinelson Lamet)...In the eighth inning of the opener of the doubleheader on 9/13 vs PIT left the game after he was hit in the helmet by a Manny Bañuelos pitch...missed two games...From 9/24-9/26 missed three games with an eye infection.

2021

Made a career-high 78 appearances for the Mariners surrounding three stints on the injured list (4/7-5/30 with a left hamstring strain, 7/18-8/1, 8/28-9/13 with right shoulder inflammation)...His .352 on-base percentage tied for the fifth-highest ever by a Mariners rookie...The Mariners went 33-19 when he reached base safely and 12-14 when he did not reach base safely...Averaged a walk every 5.76 plate appearances, fourth-best in the Major Leagues behind Yasmani Grandal (4.31), Juan Soto (4.51) and Joey Gallo (5.55)...His 22 walks were the most in franchise history through a player's first 20 games of a season...Steve Braun (1977) and Jay Buhner (1997) each had 21 walks...Four times walked with the bases loaded, most in the Major Leagues and including a walk-off walk on Opening Night in a 10-inning, 8-7 win vs the Giants...Earned MLB Network's "Play of the Week" for robbing a potential walk-off HR on 6/9 at Det...On 7/2 vs Tex became the first Mariners player with a homer, two walks and two stolen bases in a game since Hall of Famer Ken Griffey Jr. did it on 7/18/99.

Played in seven games for the Mariners in 2020, batting .154 (4x26) with three runs, one double, one triple, two stolen bases and two walks...Registered the hardest hit ball by any Mariners player this year with a double down the right field line on Aug. 22 vs. TEX, a 112.2 MPH drive off Jordan Lyles...Placed on 10-Day Injured List on Sept. 23 with a right quad strain, missing the final five games of the season.

Hit .150 (6x40) with 3 runs, 2 doubles, 1 RBI and 1 HBP in 12 games with Seattle...Made his Major League debut August 21 at Tampa Bay, going 0-for-3 with 1 run scored...Picked up first Major League hit August 23 vs. Toronto...Suffered sprained right thumb on 9/7 at HOU…shut down for rest of 2019 on 9/11...Spent most of the season in the Mariners minor league system, batting .298 (114x382) with 68 runs scored, 27 doubles, 5 triples, 19 home runs, 80 RBI, 30 walks and 22 stolen bases in 99 games between Triple-A Tacoma and Double-A Arkansas...Promoted from Double-A Arkansas to Triple-A Tacoma on June 20...Was named a Mid-Season and Post-Season Texas League All Star...Texas League Player of the Month for May…during May, he slashed .371/.440/.639 with 19 runs, 8 doubles, 6 home runs, 26 RBI, and 6 steals in 26 games...Texas League Player of the Week for the week of May 27 - June 2 after batting .440 (11x25) with 8 runs, 3 doubles, 3 home runs, 13 RBI and 2 steals in 6 games.

2018

Hit .347 (78x225) with 39 runs, 30 extra-base hits (19 2B, 7 3B, 4 HR), 41 RBI, and a .962 OPS (.415 OBP/.547 SLG) in 66 games with High-A Charlotte…ended the year on a 14-game hit streak, Aug. 21-Sept. 2 (.447/21x47)…on DL, April 2-June 7, with "turf toe."

2017

Sidelined most of the year by two trips to the DL…appeared in 26 games with High-A Charlotte and 4 games on a rehab assignment with GCL Rays.

2016

In pro debut with Short-A Hudson Valley, tallied 17 extra-base hits (9 2B, 7 3B, 1 HR) in 55 games.
