Pitched at two levels of the Yankees' farm system, Trenton (AA) and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (AAA), and with Gwinnett (AAA) for Atlanta. ... Opened the season with the Yankees' Triple-A affiliate Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and went 1-3 with one save and a 2.55 ERA (14 ER/49.1 IP) in 32 games (one start). Struck out 39 batters, but also recorded 21 walks. ... Was recalled from Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on 6/21 and made his Major League debut that evening at DET. Entered in the sixth inning of a 7-2 game and allowed four earned runs in 0.2 inning pitched on three hits, including one home run and one strikeout. Was optioned back to the RailRiders following the game. ... Transferred to Double-A Trenton on 7/21 and did not record a decision, while posting a 3.27 ERA in 11.0 innings. ... 2012

Did not play in the regular season… following the season, made 11 relief appearances with the Scottsdale Scorpions of the Arizona Fall League, allowing 16R/15ER in 11.2IP.

Combined with Single-A Charleston and Single-A Tampa to go 5-4 with a 3.64 ERA (84.0IP, 34ER) in 39 appearances out of the bullpen...began the season with the RiverDogs and was 3-2 with a 3.63 ERA in 19 appearances out of the bullpen, allowing 18ER in 44.2IP...was promoted to Tampa on 6/29 and went 2-2 with a 3.66 ERA, striking out 31 batters and allowing 16ER in 39.1IP in relief (20G).
