2015
Appeared in 16 games (one start) for Angels and did not record a decision while pitching to a 5.23 ERA (20 2/3 IP - 12 ER). Began season on disabled list after undergoing left abdominal surgery during Spring Training. Pitched in five games (three starts) with Triple-A Salt Lake on a rehab assignment before being reinstated from disabled list on July 3 and optioned to Salt Lake. On July 20, was recalled by Angels as 26th man for doubleheader vs. Boston... Did not pitch in the doubleheader and was optioned back to Salt Lake following the second game. Recalled by Angels July 30... In 10 total games (three starts) with Salt Lake, went 0-1 with one save and a 2.35 ERA (15.1 IP - 4 ER)... Recorded 25 strikeouts while walking two. Made only Major League start of the year August 2 at Dodger Stadium and did not factor in decision after tossing three innings and allowing two earned runs on three hits. Pitched in a total of seven games for Angels from July 31 - August 13 and allowed six earned runs in 10 2/3 innings (5.06 ERA) before being placed on disabled list August 16 with a right forearm strain. Activated from disabled list on September 1... Pitched in nine contests across Sept./Oct., including seven scoreless outings. Just two of 12 runs allowed on the season came at Angel Stadium... Six of seven home outings were scoreless (only runs allowed at home came Aug. 9 vs. BAL - solo home runs by Gerardo Parra and Chris Davis).

Made Major League debut for Atlanta on May 22nd vs. Minnesota and allowed two earned runs in 1.2 innings...Posted an 8.10 ERA (6.2 IP - 6 ER) in three appearances for the Braves before being traded on July 29... In 16 outings with Angels, went 1-1 with a 4.20 ERA (15 IP - 7 ER), 14 strikeouts and 10 walks... Overall, compiled a 1-1 mark with a 5.40 ERA (21.2 IP - 13 ER), 20 strikeouts and 13 walks over 19 big league games in 2013... Earned first career Major League win Sept. 20 after pitching a scoreless frame in the 11th inning vs. Seattle... Faced his older brother, Blue Jays outfielder Colby Rasmus, as a member of Braves in the 7th inning on May 27th at Toronto and allowed a double.
2012
Spent the entire season at Double-A Mississippi and tied for the team lead in appearances (50). Recorded a season high five strikeouts on 7/20 at JAX. Struck out at least three batters in a game seven times and pitched 2.0 innings eight times. Collected a save in three of his final four appearances of the season. Posted three separate five-game scoreless streaks (4/5-14, 4/27-5/9, 6/15-6/27). Appeared in 10 games (all relief) for the Phoenix Desert Dogs of the Arizona Fall League and went 0-0 with a 7.53 ERA while fanning 13 over 14.1 innings pitched.
