2004

Spent the majority of the season at Triple-A Columbus, going 11-6 with a 3.37 ERA in 24 games (22 starts)...finished tied for first in the International League in strikeouts (129) and fourth in wins (11)...was selected to the Triple-A All-Star game in Pawtucket, pitching 1.0 scoreless inning...was the Opening Night starter for the Clippers, suffering the loss after allowing two unearned runs in 5.0IP...pitched in three games for the Yankees (two starts), going 0-0 with a 19.80 ERA (5.0IP, 14H, 11ER)...was recalled by the Yankees for the first time on the season on 4/18 to replace OF Kenny Lofton on the 25-man roster...made his Major League debut the on 4/19 at Chicago, starting and receiving a no-decision in an 11-8 Yankees' win (2.2IP, 8H, 5ER, 2BB, 2K)...made one relief appearance before being optioned to Columbus on 4/30...was named International League Pitcher of the Week for the week ending on 5/30 after winning both of his starts (0.64ERA)...went 4-0 with a 2.45 ERA in May...had streak of 34.1 consecutive innings without a HR end on 6/6 at Buffalo...made first professional plate appearance, and collected his first professional hit (single) on 6/21 at Syracuse...struck out a season-high 11 batters in Game 1 of a doubleheader on 6/27 vs. Toledo...was recalled for a second time on 7/16 to replace Mike Mussina and made one start on 7/19 at Tampa Bay (0.1IP, 5H, 6ER) before being optioned back to Columbus on 7/19...placed on the disabled list from 7/22-8/5 with left shoulder tendinitis.

Spent the season at Triple-A Columbus, going 9-10 with a 4.48 ERA in 26 starts...was second on the Clippers' staff with his nine wins, 142.2IP and 110 strikeouts...led the Clippers and ranked third in the International League with 63BB...threw a season-high 7.2 innings and struck out a season-high nine batters while allowing 1ER in a 5/27 win at Scranton...was placed on the disabled list for the first time in his professional career on 8/26 with left elbow tendinitis.

2002

Split the season between Triple-A Columbus and Double-A Norwich, combining to go 11-11 with a 3.76 ERA in 28 games started...began the season with Norwich, going 5-2 with a 2.88 ERA in eight starts, including two complete-game victories (4/19 at New Haven and 5/18 at Akron)...was transferred from Norwich to Columbus on 5/22...made his Triple-A debut for Columbus at Syracuse on 5/24, receiving a no-decision (6.0IP, 4H, 2ER, 2BB, 6K)...won his first Triple-A game in his next start at Pawtucket (5.2IP, 10H, 5ER, 0BB, 3K)...was 6-9 with a 4.69 ERA in 20GS...allowed only 50 BB in 174.0 IP and pitched in least six innings in 21 of 28 starts.

2001

Spent the entire season at Double-A Norwich, going 12-9 with a 3.52 ERA in 28 games started...finished fifth in the Eastern League with 166.1 IP...notched his first Double-A win in his first start of the season, allowing 2 H and 2 ER in 5.0 IP (9 K)...missed one start after being hit in the left hand with a line drive on 4/23 vs. Binghamton...threw 7.2 hitless innings on 7/29 vs. Reading, tying the deepest a Norwich pitcher has ever taken a no-hit bid...was 6-1 with a 2.10 ERA (64.1 IP, 15 ER, 17 BB, 54 K) in his final 10 starts of the season.

2000

Made all but one start on the season with Class-A Tampa, going 8-9 with a 3.65 ERA in a league-leading 28 games started...was also second in the Florida State League with three complete games...was promoted to Double-A Norwich on 9/ 1 and made one start, allowing 7 ER and 3 HR in 5.1 IP to record the loss...had allowed only 6 HR in 143.0 IP for Tampa.

1999

In his first professional season pitched for Short-A Staten Island, going 6-3 with a 2.99 ERA in 14 games started...he ranked fifth in the league with 85 K and his 2.99 ERA ranked eighth...was named the New York Penn League's top prospect.
