Spent injury-plagued season in BAL's chain after being released by CHI at the end of Spring Training...began season with Norfolk, but was recalled by O's on May 11...went 4-for-4 in first starts with BAL on May 17 vs. Washington...laced game-ending RBI single in 11th inning on May 27 vs. NYY...missed month of July with strained left hamstring...hit .352 at Oriole Park...27 of 28 starts with BAL came at shortstop.
