Made his Major League debut on Sept. 30 @ CWS, pinch-hitting for Juan Soto in the top of the ninth inning (ground out to SS)...his one game played was his sole Major League appearance in 2023...In addition to his big league stint, split the campaign between Double-A San Antonio (52 G) and El Paso (16 G), slashing a combined .209/.261/.296 with three HR and 23 RBI across 68 Minor League games...Had his contract selected from Triple-A El Paso the day of Sept. 30, the morning of his Major League debut...Defensively, had a .989 fielding percentage across 66 games (65 starts) between Double and Triple-A, committing seven errors in 639 total chances behind the plate with a 39 percent catcher caught stealing rate...Began the season with SA, batting .200 (34-for-170) in 52 games with seven doubles, a triple, one homer, 15 RBI, 15 runs scored, 10 walks and three stolen bases...Was placed on the 7-day Injured List (retroactive to June 24) and was reinstated on July 3...Promoted to the Chihuahuas on Aug. 6, but after being sidelined by another stint on the 7-day IL, he made his Triple-A debut Aug. 25 vs. Sacramento...In 16 games for ELP, hit .233 (14-for-60) with two doubles, two homers and eight RBI before getting promoted to the big league club on Sept. 30.

Played the entirety of his season with Double-A San Antonio for the second straight year, slashing .209/.288/.297 with12 doubles, three home runs and 22 RBI across 73 games for the Missions...set career marks across all offensive categories....At home, hit .236 (26-for-110) and with four doubles, two home runs and nine RBI in 35 games…on the road, hit .186(24-for-129) with eight doubles, a home run and 13 RBI across 38 contests....Saw his best offensive month in May, when he hit .264 (14-for-53) with 10 runs scored, three doubles, a home run and nine RBI....Across 12 games from April 20 to May 10, collected four doubles a home run and seven RBI at a .310 clip (13-for-42),including five consecutive games with a hit and three multi-hit efforts during the span....On June 3 vs. Tulsa, matched his single-game career high in hits (three) for the fourth time in his career when he wen t3-for-3 with an RBI and walk…two weeks later, on June18, eclipsed another career mark when he drove in four vs. Amarillo off his first and only grand slam....Turned in a .992 fielding percentage across a career-high 70games (68 GS) behind the plate...also notched career marks innings (602.1), total chances (621) and putouts (567).
