2023

Spent most of the season with Double-A Altoona where he was 4-9 with a 5.09 ERA in 21 games, including 19 starts…was promoted to Triple-A Indianapolis on Sept. 20 and had no decisions and an 8.22 ERA in two starts…was 4-8 with a 5.33 ERA and .786 opponents OPS in 23 games, including 21 starts…tied for eighth in the Double-A East in strikeouts (91) and games started (19) and tied for ninth in innings pitched (93.2)…allowed a .264 opponents batting average, which broke down to .240 with a .636 opponents OPS against right-handed hitters compared to .294 with a .976 OPS against left-handers…surrendered 11 of his 15 home runs to lefties…combined for a 3-3 record, a 3.99 ERA and .689 opponents OPS in 10 games in his home ballparks…was 1-5 with a 6.50 ERA and .865 OPS on the road…went 2-0 with a 1.46 ERA over a five-start stretch from May 15-June 12…struck out a season-high eight batters in an 11-2 win at Richmond on June 5…also fanned eight on July 9 against Akron…tossed a career-high 99 pitches in 6.2 innings of work on Aug. 20 against Somerset for the win…then logged a season-high 7.0 scoreless innings and allowed just two hits in his next start on Aug. 26 against Richmond for his second two-game winning streak of the season…went 2-1 with a 2.77 ERA in five starts in the August…had the third lowest opponents batting average in the Double-A East in August (.188) and the seventh lowest ERA.

Did not pitch as the minor league season was cancelled due to the pandemic.

2019

Spent most of the season at Single-A Greensboro where he made 20 starts before he was promoted to High-A Bradenton on July 26…made five starts there and was a combined a 12-8 with a 3.32 ERA in 25 starts…had career highs in wins, starts, innings pitched (135.2) and hits (112) and matched his high in losses…tied for second among Pirates minor leaguers in wins and ranked fifth in ERA…had 11 wins with Greensboro, which tied for second in the South Atlantic League…did not allow a run in three of his first four starts and went 4-0 with a 0.91 ERA in five starts in April…was named the South Atlantic League Pitcher of the Week for the week of June 3-9…made one start that week on June 5 against Charleston and struck out a career-high 10 batters in 6.0 scoreless innings…allowed one hit and one walk but had a no decision in a 2-1 loss… was 4-0 with a 2.10 ERA in five starts in June…tossed a career-high 7.1 innings Aug. 5 at Charlotte…was on the injured list from Aug. 12 to 21 with a sprained left ankle.

2018

Spent his first season in the United States at Single-A West Virginia and went 4-6 with a 4.18 ERA in 14 starts…ranked second in the New York-Penn League in innings pitched (75.1)… walked just 19 batters in 75.1 innings, an average of 2.27 per nine innings…yielded just two home runs…allowed a .263 opponents batting average, including .220 with a .606 OPS against left-handed pitchers and .297 with a .767 OPS against right-handers…struck out a season-high nine batters in 5.0 innings on Aug. 7 against Batavia…then logged 7.0 scoreless innings in a 4-1 victory over Williamsport on Aug. 17.

2017

Made his professional debut with Dominican Summer League Pirates and went 1-8 with a 5.33 ERA in 15 games, including 13 starts…struck out 41 batters in 50.2 innings but walked 36, hit six and had 15 wild pitches.
