Made just one start with the Yankees (4.0IP, 4ER)…missed the majority of the season after undergoing right elbow UCL reconstruction surgery...Began the season with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre…in six total starts with the RailRiders, went 0-3 with a 7.89 ERA (21.2IP, 19ER) and 31K....Was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on 5/12 and made his only start with the club that night at Chicago-AL…allowed 4ER over 4.0IP without recording a decision (5H, 2BB, 5K, 0HR, 1WP)…was optioned to Triple-A following the game. ...Underwent right elbow UCL reconstruction surgery on 5/24…the surgery was performed by Dr. Christopher Ahmad at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York, N.Y....Was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and transferred to the 60-day injured list on 8/28.
