Made his first career Opening Day roster and had four stints with the O's: March 30-May 27, July 12-21, August 27-31, and September 2-end of season. Had pinch-hit two RBI double, April 5 @DET, his only multi-RBI game of the season. Had two three-hit games: May 10 vs. HOU (2B, RBI) and May 12 vs. DET (2-2B, RBI). His double on May 10 vs. HOU gave the O's a walk-off 5-4 win. Spent the majority of the season (64 games) with Triple-A Norfolk hitting .305/.366/.389 (28R, 13-2B, 2HR, 30RBI). Won International League Player of the Week honors, June 2-8.
2013
Became the 22nd Maryland-born Oriole in club history when he debuted for the Birds, September 13 @TOR... Collected first hit and RBI with a game-tying two-run double in the 7th inning of that game... Hit safely in all four games in which he played for the Birds, with the team going 3-1 in those games...
