Miguel Elias Rojas Naidenoff set career highs in hits (137), doubles (29), runs scored (52), and walks (32) in his fifth season with the Marlins in 2019...He hit .284 (137x483), his highest single-season average since batting .290 in 90 games in 2017...His .285 average as a shortstop was the sixth-best mark in the National League, and the eighthbest average by a Marlin, the best since José Reyes hit .287 in 2012...He homered in three consecutive games from July 27-29, all coming from the leadoff spot. The first two home runs of this streak were leadoff homers, while the third came in the second inning...He was just the third Marlin (fourth time) to homer in three straight games when batting leadoff, joining Hanley Ramirez (June 29-July 1, 2008; August 4-7, 2007) and Cliff Floyd (April 1-3, 1998).
