Had roller-coaster season during 1st year in Giants organization, opening campaign with triple-A Fresno, making 7-game ML cameo, and logging stint with single-A San Jose...had contract purchased by SF July 16...collected hit in 1st big league at-bat, singling off Phillies' Rheal Cormier during July 16 ML debut...belted 1st ML HR July 20 vs. San Diego, 2-run clout off Padres' Chan Ho Park...was optioned to San Jose July 22 when Giants acquired Shea Hillenbrand...was later designated for assignment Aug. 22, and outrighted to Fresno Aug. 23...combined for 21 2Bs, 16 HRs and 81 RBI in 105 minor league games, mostly in Pacific Coast League.

2005

Made triple-A debut with Omaha in Royals' organization, continuing to produce consistent power numbers with 26 2Bs and 16 HRs in 120 games...batted .259 with 64 RBI...logged 1st career games in position other than 1st base, playing 16 contests in outfield.

2004

Had finest all-around season, ranking 3rd in Texas League with career-high 21 HRs in 130 games at double-A Wichita...was also tabbed circuit's Best Defensive 1st Baseman by Baseball America.

2003

Recorded careerbest .270 avg. in 1st season at Wichita.

2002

Struggled during lone campaign at single-A Wilmington, batting just .240 with career-low 9 HRs.

2001

Established career highs with 32 2Bs and 83 RBI in 121 contests at single-A Burlington.

2000

Began year at single-A Charleston- WV, but was top power threat in short-season Northwest League during 73-game stint with Spokane...led league with 14 HRs and tied for 1st with 32 extra-base hits, while ranking 2nd for RBI (47) and total bases (127), 3rd for 2Bs (18) and 4th for slugging pct. (.476).

1999

Began professional career at age 18, batting .271 with 35 RBI in 48 games for Royals' affiliate in Gulf Coast League.
