Liz Beecroft is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist whose main mission is to educate and raise awareness on mental health, specifically the mental health of elite athletes, high performers, and creatives.
Having received her MSW from New York University, Liz is the founder of MENTL.SESH, her private practice that specializes in providing individual therapy to elite athletes, high performers, and creatives. Aside from providing individual psychotherapy services, Liz trains on workplace mental health practices, partners and consults with brands on mental health initiatives to make the conversation on mental wellness more down to earth and accessible.
Liz utilizes her social media platforms through authentic storytelling and complete transparency, creating a safe space and validating that it's okay to feel all of the feels. Liz has collaborated and partnered with many brands including Nike, Meta, Disney, Redbull, Adidas, Rare Beauty, Maybelline and most notably designed a Nike Air Max 270 React sneaker dubbed "In My Feels."
Anthony Polcari, or "Tony P," is a social media influencer based in Washington, D.C., celebrated for his advocacy of "vibrant masculinity." Tony attended University of Richmond, where he served as student body president. After relocating to Washington, D.C., Polcari embarked on a career as a consultant. Concurrently, he began sharing content on platforms like Instagram and TikTok under the handle @_tonypindc, amassing a substantial following. His content, which includes daily vlogs, "fit checks," and culinary adventures, emphasizes a balanced approach to masculinity - encouraging men to embrace both traditional interests, such as sports and fitness, and creative pursuits like cooking and theater.
Polcari's philosophy of "vibrant masculinity" seeks to redefine modern manhood by promoting positivity, emotional intelligence, and inclusivity. His charismatic and authentic online presence has resonated with many, leading to features in notable publications like GQ and Washington Post. Beyond his digital endeavors, Polcari remains committed to fostering community and meaningful connections, both online and offline.
Dr. Deanna Nobleza is Director of Mental Health for the Philadelphia Phillies. In this role, she oversees the implementation of mental health services and programming for players, coaches, and staff. Dr. Nobleza completed her medical degree and combined residency in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She was the first staff psychiatrist at Princeton University where she worked with Division I athletes. Prior to joining the Phillies, Dr. Nobleza served as assistant provost and student counseling director at Thomas Jefferson University and helped develop the COVID-19 behavioral health response for the Jefferson Enterprise.
Antonio Cordero is a bilingual, Spanish-speaking licensed mental health psychotherapist and peak performance coach who joins Phillies Mental Health Department. Antonio - a former four-year college athlete - graduated from Boston University with a master’s degree in counseling psychology and specialization in sport psychology.
Antonio's prior work settings include community clinics providing clinical psychology services and private practices focusing on performance optimization for athletes and professionals. Antonio has expertise providing psychological support to individuals, couples, families, groups, and teams.
As the newest staff member of Phillies CAPS (Counseling and Psychiatric Services), Antonio - who will be based out of Clearwater - will provide mental health services and consultation to players, coaches, staff, and families; enhance the psychological wellbeing of athletes and teams through skills training and wellness education; and help maintain protocols to respond to players’ psychological needs.
