2020 Phillies Home Runs for Trees

On Tuesday, November 17, the Phillie Phanatic showed off his green thumb as he joined Pennsylvania Horticultural Society volunteers to distribute over 1,100 trees to area Tree Tenders. The special tree pickup was held at the Navy Yard in preparation for this weekend’s PHS community-planting events being held throughout Philadelphia and Southeastern Pennsylvania neighborhoods. The event was part of the Phillies Home Runs for Trees, a program supported by Philadelphia Gas Works.
