In conjunction with Major League Baseball, the Phillies have announced a revised 2021 spring training schedule, which will allow fans in a limited capacity for games at their ballpark in Clearwater, Fla. With this revision, the Phillies will now play a regionalized schedule, created to mitigate travel for health and safety considerations.

The Phillies are slated to host 14 of their 28 spring training games in Clearwater, with the season officially to begin on the road against the Detroit Tigers on Sunday, February 28. The next day the club will play its Grapefruit League home opener on Monday, March 1, against the Baltimore Orioles. The revised home schedule also features matchups against the New York Yankees, Detroit Tigers, Pittsburgh Pirates and Toronto Blue Jays.

Seating will be limited to 2,200 fans per game at the 8,500-seat ballpark.

The Phillies will host their final spring training game on Monday, March 29, against the Blue Jays, before returning to Philadelphia for the club’s 2021 regular season home opener against the Atlanta Braves on Thursday, April 1, at Citizens Bank Park.
