Phillies & SEI to Celebrate the Season of Giving with Holiday Charitable Events

Starting on November 26, Phanta Claus and special guests to bring holiday cheer during a dozen events aimed at giving thanks to community heroes

The Phillies and SEI, a leading global provider of technology and investment solutions and Official Partner of the Philadelphia Phillies, are continuing their commitment to affect positive change in the community by teaming up to host a fun-filled Season of Giving.

This is the second year for the holiday campaign, created to bring cheer and give thanks to local nonprofit organizations and community heroes.

In addition, Phillies Charities, Inc. will continue its tradition of giving back with holiday events honoring local heroes and more. See below for a full lineup of events, with more information at phillies.com/community.

PHILLIES HOLIDAY SEASON OF GIVING PRESENTED BY SEI

Tuesday, November 26, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Media Room at Citizens Bank Park
Providing Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia Families a Traditional Thanksgiving Dinner

  • Volunteers from the Phillies and SEI, in conjunction with Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia, will team up to make sure 50 local families in need will have a delicious holiday dinner on Thanksgiving Day.
  • Participants will assemble holiday sacks filled with turkeys, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, rolls and more – everything the families need to cook a homemade holiday meal. Special guests include Phanta Claus and Phillies ambassadors Mickey Morandini, Dickie Noles and Milt Thompson.
  • Volunteers will then depart from the ballpark to deliver the food to families throughout Philadelphia.

Monday, December 2, 12:30 – 2:30 p.m., Share Food Program, Allegheny West
Phanta Claus & Friends to Make a Share Food Program Visit to Support Holiday Hunger Relief Efforts

  • Phillies and SEI employees will help to fight food insecurity this holiday season as they volunteer to sort donated food at the warehouse of Share Food Program, which distributes millions of pounds of food to hundreds of thousands of neighbors in need. Special guests include Phanta Claus, Morandini, Noles and Thompson.
  • The event is also part of Phillies Give Back, a monthly employee volunteer program in which members of the Phillies family donate their time to local nonprofits.

Tuesday, December 3, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Media Room, Citizens Bank Park
Phillies and SEI ‘Elves’ to Host Holiday Gift-Wrapping Party to Benefit Local Military Families

  • Hundreds of Phillies-themed gifts will be set up in the media room, where an assembly line of Phillies and SEI “elves,” along with Phanta Claus and Phillies Ambassadors, will wrap the items in advance of a Military Appreciation Holiday Party on December 12 at Citizens Bank Park.

Thursday, December 5, 5:00 – 6:00 p.m., Ford PAL Center, South Philadelphia
Phanta Claus & PAL Officers Deliver Toys, Donated by Fans, at a Holiday Party for Ford PAL Center Kids

  • Phanta Claus returns to deliver hundreds of toys to children at the Ford PAL Center. Joining him will be PAL officers, Phillies Ambassadors Scott Palmer, Morandini, Noles and Thompson, and Phillies Ballgirls.
  • Many toys were donated by fans at the team’s Christmas in July Toy Drive held earlier this season.

Tuesday, December 10, 11:00 a.m., Jefferson Moss Magee Rehabilitation Hospital – Center City
Deck the Halls! Holiday Gift Surprise to Hospital Residents

  • Phillies Ambassadors, Phanta Claus and Phillies Ballgirls will surprise residents, who are in the hospital for the holidays, by going room to room to personally deliver Phillies gifts to lift their spirits!

Thursday, December 12, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m., CP Rankin Club, Citizens Bank Park
Thank You for Your Service! Military Appreciation Holiday Party

  • The Phillies and SEI are teaming up to give 150 military members and their families a very special holiday party, aimed at thanking them for their service and sacrifice.
  • In addition to being presented with Phillies-themed gifts, all wrapped by Phillies and SEI volunteers, families will be treated to a holiday dinner, meet-and-greets with Phanta Claus and Phillies Ambassadors, games and prizes hosted by the Phillies Ballgirls, and more.

Friday, December 13, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m., Phillies Clubhouse, Citizens Bank Park
Phillies Ballgirls Host Ultimate Holiday Party for Families with Children Undergoing Treatment

  • The Phillies Ballgirls, along with the team’s community outreach staff, will host the ultimate holiday party for 10 families whose children (ages 6 to 15 years old) are currently undergoing or have recently concluded treatment for various illnesses.
  • Families will meet in the holiday-decorated Phillies Clubhouse, where they will be treated to Phillies fun including a holiday movie, all-access ballpark tour, a baseball-themed scavenger hunt, visits from Phillies Ambassadors and Phanta Claus, and more!

Healthcare Heroes Holiday Party & Phillies Gift Exchange

  • This will be a very special holiday party for local healthcare heroes and their families! The evening will include fun activities including games, photos with Phillies Ambassadors and Phanta Claus, and more.
  • The event will include a Phillies gift exchange, with attendees taking home signed memorabilia, Phillies giveaways, 2025 Phillies tickets, and more.

Mystery Grab Bags for Charity, New Era Phillies Team Store at Citizens Bank Park

  • As part of the Phillies Red Friday holiday shopping event, fans can purchase mystery grab bags, featuring a signed item and two Phillies giveaways, all to benefit charity (while supplies last; store open until 6:00 p.m.)
  • Each grab bag costs $50, with featured autographs from Phillies players from the past 10 seasons.

Red Friday Mystery Ball Online Sale to Benefit Phillies Charities, Inc.

  • Fans will be able to purchase mystery balls signed by players from the 2024 Phillies, including Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, Trea Turner, Zack Wheeler and more.
  • This offer is available on phillies.com/auctions while supplies last. Mystery balls are $50 each, with a $5 shipping fee, and proceeds will benefit Phillies Charities, Inc.

Phillies Charities, Inc. Holiday Party to Salute Community Heroes

  • Local heroes will take center stage to be honored by the Phillies for their selfless work in the community.
  • Attendees include representatives from 40+ local organizations that are going above and beyond and who were also selected to receive a 2024 Phillies Charities, Inc. grant of $40,000 so their efforts can continue.

Monday, December 9: 12:00 p.m., The Bethesda Project’s Our Brother’s Place
Phillies Family to Prepare, Host & Serve a Holiday Dinner at Philadelphia’s Largest Homeless Shelter

  • The Phillies family will continue a 25-year holiday tradition, as front-office volunteers will prepare and serve a home-cooked holiday dinner to guests sheltering at Bethesda Project’s Our Brother’s Place.
  • Food will be donated by The GIANT Company and Phillies staff.
