Clearwater, FL — AMPLIFY Clearwater is proud to announce a generous matching grant of up to $1 million from the Philadelphia Phillies to the AMPLIFY Hope campaign, unveiled at today’s press conference. This substantial commitment from one of Clearwater’s long-standing community partners will double contributions from other donors, maximizing the impact for local businesses and residents working to rebuild after hurricanes Helene and Milton.

The AMPLIFY Hope campaign was launched to provide critical financial support to Clearwater businesses and residents facing extensive damage from the storms. Many local businesses, including popular shops, restaurants, and service providers, are dealing with structural repairs and inventory losses. Meanwhile, residents are managing costly home repairs as they rebuild their lives. Every dollar donated to AMPLIFY Hope will be matched by the Phillies, doubling the funds available for recovery grants to directly support affected members of our community.

Since its launch, AMPLIFY Clearwater has already received over 50 applications from those seeking recovery assistance, and this matching grant will enable the campaign to meet an even greater portion of the community’s needs.
