DENVER -- Already riddled with injuries, particularly pertaining to hamstrings, the Phillies watched two more key contributors exit a game early during Friday's 4-3, 12-inning loss to the Rockies.

Shortstop Scott Kingery had to leave after grounding into a fielder's choice to end the top of the fourth inning. He pulled up as he reached first base and left the game due to a right hamstring strain, the club announced.

"He could be [a candidate for the 10-day injured list]," manager Gabe Kapler said. "Obviously I don't want to speak too soon; it's something that we'll want to talk about as a group, and see how he's feeling tomorrow before making any long-term determinations."

Kingery was 1-for-3 with a single, and is batting .464 with four doubles and two home runs in his last 10 games. He had been playing shortstop in place of an injured Jean Segura (left hamstring strain), who could be back in the lineup as soon as Sunday.

In the sixth, left fielder Andrew McCutchen had to exit while on the basepaths due to left knee inflammation, the club announced. He went 1-for-2 with a single and a pair of walks, and is hitting .257/.409/.486 with three homers for the season.

"That's not concerning," Kapler said. "It's possible he could've stayed in the game, but given what has happened recently, I didn't feel I wanted to risk anything. I wanted to get him off his feet, evaluate him before we put him at any risk."

"There was a little nagging pain," McCutchen said. "I was trying to shake it off, because I've had it before. So I was just trying to shake it off to get it going again. But I'll be fine. I'll be in [the lineup] tomorrow."
