National Letter of Intent Signing Night for Phillies 2024 UYA Graduates
(Monday, May 13, 2024) There was a lot to celebrate at the Bank for these 15 Phillies Urban Youth Academy graduates, who all signed letters of intent to play college baseball and softball during a National Letter of Intent Signing Night hosted by the club.
Dozens of family members and coaches of the student-athletes attended the special event, which was held in the Yard. All proudly cheered on the high school seniors for their hard work, determination and grit shown during their time at the Academy, which has now taken them to the next level of play with college ball.
The team’s Director of Amateur Scouting Administration Rob Holiday was also on hand to congratulate the recent graduates, as well as members of the Phillies Youth Baseball & Softball Development including Jon Joaquin, Monica Clark and Justin Chasmir.
