Free Ride Everywhere Downtown (FRED) is an innovative, eco-friendly electric shuttle service operating in Downtown San Diego. The service is supported by sponsoring brands, so the rides are 100% FREE. Shuttle service operates seven days a week on the following schedule:

Mon - Thurs - (7 a.m. - 9 p.m.)
Fri - (7 a.m. - 10 p.m.)
Sat - (8 a.m. - 10 p.m.)
Sun - (9 a.m. - 9 p.m.)

The San Diego Bay Ferry departs from the Coronado Ferry Landing Shopping Center to 5th Ave Landing (behind the Convention Center) starting at 9:10 a.m. and recurring every half-hour until 9:40 p.m (10:40 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays). Returning from 5th Ave Landing to Coronado starting at 9:25 a.m. and recurring every half-hour until 9:55 p.m. (10:55 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays). The ferry costs $7.00 per person, each way.
