Omaha Storm Chasers (30-28)

Omaha continued its dominance of Round Rock, moving to 11-4 in the season series. Clayton Mortensen tossed 6.0 shutout innings, striking out six while scattering four hits and a walk. He has 11.0 scoreless innings through his first two starts. Spencer Patton notched a 3.0 inning save, moving into second in the PCL with 11 rescues. Matt Fields drove in two and Jesus Flores capped the scoring with a two-run homer.

NW Arkansas Naturals (19-36)

The Naturals rested on Monday after a long bus ride from Corpus Christi. They host Tulsa (Rockies) tonight.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (28-28)

Wilmington climbed back to .500, winning the final game of a four-game series. Glenn Sparkman and Daniel Stumpf combined on the shutout. Sparkman struck out one while allowing three hits and two walks over 5.0 innings. Stumpf retired all 12 batters he faced, including four strikeouts. 2013 first-round pick and sixth-ranked Royals prospect Hunter Dozier delivered a go-ahead single in the seventh, scoring Daniel Rockett. Dozier went 2-for-5 and is batting .426 (20-for-47) since May 20.

Lexington dropped the first of three at Greenville. Matt Tenuta (5.1 IP, 5 H, 5 R, 4 ER, 2 BB, 6 SO) held the Drive scoreless through the third, then allowed at least one run in each of his final three innings. Alfredo Escalera was 2-for-4 with an RBI triple and a run scored. Samir Duenez added an RBI single, a double and a run.
