Lefty Tolliver optioned to Triple-A
BALTIMORE -- The Orioles optioned left-hander Ashur Tolliver to Triple-A Norfolk after Sunday's 12-5 win over the Rays, the club announced. Tolliver's wife is due July 7, and with the O's set to embark on a three-city West Coast trip Sunday night, they didn't want him to be across the country when she went into labor.

Manager Buck Showalter said pregame the Orioles could activate righty Vance Worley when he's eligible to return from the disabled list Tuesday, but he will pitch at High-A Frederick on that day instead.
The O's could add lefty T.J. McFarland to replace the southpaw. McFarland, who joined Baltimore as the 26th man for Saturday's doubleheader, is eligible to be recalled again Tuesday. He was optioned June 18 and must wait 10 days to be called back up barring an injury.
The Orioles have Monday off, so they don't need make an immediate corresponding move.
