In a unique opportunity in the middle of a pennant race, fans will be able to spend an evening with Red Sox manager John Farrell on Monday in New York.
The event, billed as "A Special Evening with Red Sox manager John Farrell -- In New York City," will be hosted by hosted by Ed Randall of Sirius/XM and WFAN Radio.
Farrell will discuss some of the inner workings of this exciting season while also looking ahead to what should be a thrilling home stretch for the Red Sox.
It takes place at the Vanderbilt Suites on the second floor of the MetLife building, upstairs from Grand Central Station and occurs one night before the Red Sox open a three-game series at Yankee Stadium.
The evening's program will run from 7 to 9:30 p.m. ET. Cash bar and light appetizers are included. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
A special limited-entry meet-and-greet VIP cocktail reception prior to the scheduled event at 6 p.m. will include a photo with Farrell, not to mention a baseball signed by the Red Sox's manager.
All proceeds from this event will benefit the medical screening and educational programs of Fans for the Cure, a 501(c)(3) charity that promotes men's health programs and prostate cancer awareness.
Farrell was diagnosed with lymphoma in August 2015 and was cancer free after two months of extensive chemotherapy treatment.
