The Lions take the field!

About head coach Beth Goderwis

Head coach Beth Goderwis will be entering her 19th total year as a head coach and 18th season with the Mount.

The last season saw great success for Goderwis and her team as they finished the 2019 campaign with the best single-season record in program history at 35-7, adding a 15-1 conference record and the first regular season title in program history. The Lions ended their season as runner ups in the conference tournament.

Over the past five seasons, Goderwis and her staff have tallied a win-loss record of 97-48.

Goderwis was also named the Heartland Conference Coach of the Year for the second straight season.

Thomas More breaks down the fundamentals!

The Thomas More Saints Softball team held a two-day clinic here at the Academy on Jan. 11 and 12. The Saints showed girls ages 8-13 and 14-18 the fundamentals of softball, as well as provided a great time here at the Academy. Check out what head coach Lindsay Eagan and senior Andrea Gahan had to say about the event!

About Lindsay Eagan

Head coach Lindsay Eagan will be entering her 12th season at the helm for the Thomas More Saints Softball program. Throughout her tenure, Eagan has gathered an impressive 322 total wins, including seven conference championships and eight NCAA Tournament appearances. In conference play, Eagan is 177-33 in her career.

Last season, the Saints went 34-11 overall, advancing to the NCAA Tournament Regional Round.

Hunter Greene Camp shines in two-day experience

About Hunter Greene:

Hunter Greene was the second overall selection of the 2017 Major League Baseball draft by the Cincinnati Reds. Greene was taken out of Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, Calif. Greene was both a pitcher and shortstop before the Reds drafted him as a pitcher.

When drafted, Greene signed his professional contract with a $7.23 million signing bonus, the largest amount given out next to current New York Yankees pitcher Gerrit Cole, who received an $8 million signing bonus in 2011.

Greene has history in MLB Urban Youth Academies, having trained in the Urban Youth Academy in Compton in Compton, Calif. starting in 2008.
